A PLACE TO BEGIN
You don’t need to have it all figured out.
Maybe you’ve been carrying a lot. You notice yourself rushing, bracing, or thinking through the same challenge again and again. You’d like a little more room to breathe and respond.
Revive & Rewire gives you time to bring your attention to your body and explore what happens when you move with support, curiosity, and a slower pace.
You can be brand new to this work or already familiar with it. There’s room for both.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPLORE
A little more room for yourself.
Notice your signals
Pay attention to sensation, tension, breathing, and the small changes you might miss when life moves quickly.
Practice having a choice
Try moving more slowly, changing a movement, or taking a pause. Learn what it feels like to follow your own pace.
Make space for rest
Finish with supported stillness and time to notice how you feel after moving. Take that experience into the rest of your day.
INSIDE YOUR 90-MINUTE CLASS
Simple movement.
Space to listen.
Dimmed lights, carefully chosen music, and a circle of stools set the scene. Allie explains each part of the class so you know what to expect.
You’ll have a simple sequence to explore, with freedom to make it your own. There’s no need to keep up with anyone else.
01
Arrive and reflect
Settle in and privately write down two things you’re carrying, or places in your life that feel stuck. You don’t need to share them.

02
Move and notice
Begin with slow, basic movements. Allie helps you build an easy sequence to repeat and adapt, seated and potentially standing.
03
Follow your own pace
Slow down and notice what changes. You may bring your reflections to mind, pause with a sensation, or stop and rest at any point.
04
Settle into stillness
Spend the final part of class resting with blankets and a bolster. Notice your breathing and how it feels to be still, then return slowly.

YOUR GUIDE
Meet Allie Whitney.
Allie is the founder of Studio A Body Therapy. Her work brings together bodywork, somatic education, and an interest in how our life experiences shape the way we feel in our bodies.
In class, she offers clear guidance and a supportive setting while giving you room to notice your own experience. You can ask questions, adapt, or take a break.
Revive & Rewire is the next chapter of Release & Refresh, following three years of somatic drop-in classes at Studio A.

BEFORE YOU JOIN
A few things you may be wondering.
Do I need experience with somatic movement?
No. Somatic simply means body-based. Allie explains what to expect and guides simple movements. Both first-timers and people with an established somatic practice are welcome.
Will I need to share, work with a partner, or be touched?
No. Your written reflections can stay private. There is no partner work, no required touch, and no being singled out. You choose how you participate.
What if a movement doesn’t feel right for me?
You can adapt a movement, make it smaller, pause, or rest. Allie offers a simple sequence as a starting point; you explore it at your own pace. Contact Studio A before booking if you have questions about participating with your particular needs.
Do I have to sign up for a series?
No. Revive & Rewire is a drop-in class. Book one session, then return whenever it fits your life.
What should I wear and bring?
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Bring a notebook and pen if you have them; writing supplies are available if you forget. Stools, blankets, bolsters, balls, blocks, and eye pillows are provided.
Is this therapy?
This is an educational, trauma-informed movement class. It offers a place to explore body awareness and your own responses to movement and stillness. It does not replace mental health therapy or medical care.
Is financial support available?
Yes. If you genuinely need financial support to attend, use HELP-ME-OUT at checkout for 25% off. Your class price will be $19.50.
