Hey! I'm Allie!

I'm a somatic body therapist and trauma-trained chronic pain specialist, and I want everyone in my community here in Brownsburg and west Indy to learn what I've learned about pain and its connection to stress, trauma, emotions, and the nervous system. It's fascinating stuff, and it's game-changing for a lot of people!

So, I'm hosting a free-to-you screening of the powerful documentary PAIN BRAIN, which dives into some of these topics! It will open your eyes to the truth about pain and will be a jumping point for our 30-minute discussion after the film.

You could watch this film alone for a cost... OR you could let me cover the cost and you could watch it with me and others in the community looking for solutions to chronic pain. After the film, I'll guide us in a discussion that is sure to be lively and educational about what research in neuroscience has to say about pain and the power that lies in retraining the brain and nervous system.

PAIN BRAIN is a documentary about a massive neuroscience study that challenges the medical industry’s approach to chronic pain.

When therapist Alan Gordon suggests psychology as the cure for millions of pain sufferers, it garners the attention of Yoni Ashar, a doctoral student working in the lab of Dr. Tor Wager, who is willing to put Alan’s claims to the test.

PAIN BRAIN balances scientific breakthrough alongside intimate therapy sessions with patients as Alan attempts to cure patients with only words and information.

How successful the treatment is could catalyze a paradigm shift – from body to brain – amongst doctors and patients.
